TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State football has announced the addition of Middle Tennessee to the 2020 nonconference schedule. The game is currently set for September 12, 2020 at Floyd Stadium.
Separated by just under 300 miles, it will be just the second meeting all-time between the two programs and the first since 1984 -- a playoff meeting in which the Blue Raiders won 42-41.
The Sycamores will travel to Kansas to face the Jayhawks in 2019 before making their way to Murfreesboro in 2020. Indiana State is also scheduled to travel to West Virginia in 2021 before beginning a series with Purdue in 2022. The full future schedule can be found
HERE.
Indiana State is currently enjoying a bye week, but will return to the gridiron next Thursday, September 27, when Northern Iowa comes to Terre Haute to open Missouri Valley Football Conference action. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium.
Several promotions will be taking place Thursday including Military & First Responders Appreciation Night, Youth Football Jersey Day, an A-10 Flyover, Ford Superscreen Tailgate and HI-99 & Mix-FM Pregame Tailgate. For more information on promotions click
