RIVA SAN VITALE, Switzerland – Wendi Bibbins, a former Indiana State women's basketball forward, has signed a professional contract to play for Riva Basket in the Swiss Basketball League.

Bibbins was a two-year letterwinner at Indiana State where she was named the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year before claiming All-Valley first team honors in 2018. She finished her Sycamore career with an average of 8.5 rebounds per game, ranking second in school history, with 504 total rebounds. Her 67 career blocks also ranks 10
th in school history.

Riva Basket went 7-14 in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.

The Indiana State product will likely make an immediate impact with Riva Basket as Bibbins will be the tallest player on the team's roster. Two other American players are currently on Riva Basket's roster including former Vanderbilt standout Elan Brown and Kelly Moten, a four-year letterwinner from Emporia State.
