TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Head Softball Coach Mike Perniciaro announced the program's fall 2018 exhibition schedule with three of the four weekends of play taking place in the friendly confines of Price Field.
 
The Sycamores will open fall exhibition play in Terre Haute with a doubleheader against Heartland Community College on Sept. 8 starting at Noon before heading to Westfield on Sept. 16 to face a pair of Division II programs in Grand Valley State and UIndy.
 
ISU returns home on Sept. 23 to host Purdue Northwest and then wraps up the home schedule on Sept. 29 by hosting Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods and Lincoln Trail.
 
Indiana State returns all but one letterwinner from last year's roster after Perniciaro, in his first season guiding the Sycamores, let the program to its best finish in Missouri Valley Conference play since 1991.
