TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The 2018-19 Indiana State Basketball season continues to inch closer and it is time to make your plans now to join the Sycamore Basketball coaching staff, student-athletes and alumni for an exciting two-day event which will raise funds for the program to be used over the course of the season. The Sycamore Basketball Reception & Golf Outing, presented by First Financial Bank, is set for Thursday, September 20 and Friday, September 21 with many different opportunities to participate. The event is also sponsored by The Copper Bar, the Indiana Theater, Servpro, York Automotive Group and Wolfe's Auto Auction.

On September 20, the Sycamore Basketball Reception takes place at the historic Indiana Theater, located at 638 Ohio St. in Terre Haute. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. (ET) with a VIP reception for Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors (detailed below). General admission opens at 6:00 pm with cocktails, hors d'ouevres, a silent auction and a meet and greet with the Sycamores. The program begins at 6:45 pm and continues with a live auction. The cost to attend the event is $50 per individual or $75 per couple.

This year Sycamore Basketball alumni Brad Miley and Eddie Bird will be on hand to meet with fans and will be honored for their accomplishments at ISU during the reception.

This year's auction features sports memorabilia and game tickets, autographs from professional athletes and college head coaches, opportunities to travel to with the Sycamores and other experiences as well as many great items donated by our loyal supporters. The live auction always features exciting getaways and memorabilia from significant events in Sycamore history.

On September 21, the annual Sycamore Basketball Golf Outing will be held at Hulman Links Golf Course, located at 990 N. Chamberlain St. on the east side of Terre Haute. The morning flight tees off at 8:00 a.m. with the afternoon flight scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The afternoon flight will limited to the first 25 teams registered. The cost to play in the golf tournament is $150 for an individual or $600 per team of four. Space is limited, so if you are considering playing in this event please register early!

As mentioned, there are sponsorship opportunities for both events highlighted by the Platinum Sponsorship which costs $1000 and includes a hole sign, eight VIP reception tickets and a foursome at the golf outing. The Gold Sponsorship costs $800 and includes a hole sign, two VIP reception tickets and a golf foresome. The silver level sponsorship costs $300 and includes a hole sign and two VIP Reception tickets while a bronze sponsorship is $200 and includes one hole sign.
