TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – With almost a week to go before first serve of the 2018 season, Indiana State's Volleyball program will play in a pair of intrasquad scrimmages this weekend to prepare for the season opener.
 
Friday's annual Blue & White Scrimmage will begin at 6 p.m. at ISU Arena while Saturday's scrimmage will take place at Terre Haute North High School at 5:30 p.m. Both scrimmages have free admission.
 
Fans can get an early glimpse at the 2018 Sycamores and pick up their 2018 Sycamore Volleyball schedule poster at each scrimmage.
 
The Sycamores were recently projected to finish sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference this fall, receiving just three votes shy of Valparaiso. The Sycamores swept the Crusaders last season.
 
The 2018 season officially opens on Friday, Aug. 24 when the Sycamores compete in the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational presented by Hyatt Place. ISU will face Liberty, Purdue Fort Wayne and Oakland in the season-opening tournament.
