DES MOINES, Iowa – After hitting .600 and half of Indiana State's runs at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, Sycamore outfielder Becky Malchow was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team Saturday.
 
Malchow, a sophomore, was 3-for-5 at the plate over Indiana State's two games, hitting .600 with a .600 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage after also drawing a hit by pitch. Of the six runs the Trees scored at the tournament, Malchow was responsible for three of them.
 
She was also reliable in the outfield, making three catches and posting a 1.000 fielding percentage.
 
Malchow garners all-tournament marks after leading Indiana State to its first postseason appearance since the 2015 season.
