The first five points of the second half belonged to the Bears, before Barnes drained a triple with 17:42 left to trim the lead down to 41-28. After Missouri State stretched their cushion out to 14 points, ISU scored five in a row including a put back byÂ
Emondre Rickman and then a trifecta by Scott to make it 45-36 with just over 14 minutes to go.
A lay-up from Tanveer Bhullar pushed the lead out to 50-36, but Scott countered with a 3-pointer and then grabbed a steal which led to the record tying 3-pointer by Barnes at the 12:07 mark to get ISU within eight at 50-42.
