TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Basketball fans heading to the Hulman Center Saturday will get a double dip of Sycamore action when Indiana State's women's program will host UIC in a doubleheader following the men's game against Truman State.
Â
Tipoff is tentatively set for 4 p.m. (time varying based upon the conclusion of the men's game) and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the Sycamore Radio Network.

Series History
- This will be the 14th meeting between the two teams. Indiana State won five in a row to start the series.
- The Sycamores have never dropped consecutive games in the series to the Flames, a mark that will be put to the test Saturday.
- Indiana State has held UIC to less than 60 points in five of the last six meetings.
- ISU has a 5-0 all-time record against UIC at home.

Five Things to Know
- Looking for that First Dub
As Indiana State returns home for just its second home game of the season, the Sycamores will be looking for their first home win of the season. A five-point decision at the hands of IUPUI marred the Trees home opener on Monday and gave ISU an 0-1 record against Horizon League teams this year, a mark that could get evened up with a win Saturday.
- UIC Familiar with The Valley
When UIC tips off against Indiana State on Saturday afternoon, the Flames enter with plenty of knowledge of the Missouri Valley Conference. That is because this will mark the fourth Valley opponent in its eight games early on this season. UIC is coming off a win at Evansville and opened the year by winning against Valparaiso with a home loss to Loyola in between.
- Final Game before Finals
Saturday's game marks Indiana State's final game before the team will take a nine-day break for final exams. ISU will be playing its third game in six days with Saturday's tipoff after Monday's home opener against IUPUI and Wednesday's game at Illinois. The Sycamores won't return to action until Dec. 17 at Butler and won't be back in the Hulman Center until Dec. 30 against Davenport.
- Biggie Means Big Trouble
Ashli O'Neal – affectionately nicknamed "Biggie" by her teammates – has proven to be big trouble for Sycamore opponents this season. She has reached double figures in scoring in every game this season to date and in 18 of her last 19 contests. But more than just scoring, she's tough to face on defense, ranking 21st nationally and leading The Valley with 3.29 steals per game.
- Kie to the Post
Kierra Isaiah found her groove on Wednesday at Illinois and was the key to ISU's post game (not to be confused with post-game). Isaiah was 5-for-9 from the floor and scored a season-high 13 points against the Big Ten foe.
