TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – After opening the season with five straight games away from home – the longest road stretch to open a season in over 35 years – Indiana State will finally play a game inside the Hulman Center when the Sycamores host IUPUI on Monday night.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. with Jordan Eldridge (play-by-play), Lonnie Walker (analyst) and Beth Mauder (sideline) calling the action on ESPN3 while Andrew Kappes will have the call on the Sycamore Radio Network.

- Looking to Reverse a Trend
Indiana State is looking to reverse a recent trend Monday night when IUPUI visits the Hulman Center. The Jaguars have won the last three meetings but a key in ending that streak could come from a Valley friend. Northern Iowa recently topped IUPUI in Indianapolis, 53-40. The Panthers are picked to finish second in the MVC this season.
- Out of Valley Success
Speaking of UNI's win at IUPUI, that was part of a road non-conference resurgence for the Missouri Valley Conference this year. The Valley is 14-20 in road non-conference games this year, already much better than last year's 9-41 mark. Indiana State accounts for nearly a third of those road non-conference wins with four so far this season.
- Thieving Trees
Indiana State recorded 20 steals in its 62-51 win at Southeast Missouri – the most for a Sycamore team in a game in 20 years. But that is not an outlier. ISU enters this game ranked 61st nationally in steals per game (10.6), a mark that leads the Missouri Valley Conference.
- Theft by Three
Speaking of steals, there's one Sycamore that is standing out in a Big(gie) way. Ashli O'Neal enters this game ranked ninth in the nation and leads the Valley with an average of 4.0 steals per game. She hit that average on point in the Southeast Missouri win with four steals.
