TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Head Volleyball Coach
Lindsay Allman announced the signing of three incoming volleyball players for 2019 to National Letters of Intent.
Â
Allman is adding two outside hitters and a setter for the 2019 season, providing much-needed depth at both positions. McKenna Hall, Gretchen Kuckkan and Chloe Mason are all expected to be on campus in time for next fall.
Â
Hall, a 6-foot-1 outside hitter from Sylvania, Ohio, received honorable mention All-Ohio honors her senior year at Northview High School while also claiming first team all-district and all-conference honors.
Â
Kuckkan, a 6-foot-0 outside hitter from Lafayette, was a four-year letterwinner at Lafayette's Central Catholic High School that led her team to a state championship her junior season. A three-time all-state selection, Kuckkan not only hit .359 her senior year with 39 aces but also was voted the student council President.
Â
Mason, a 5-foot-7 setter from nearby Terre Haute North High School, was named to the Under Armour All-America Watch List her junior and senior years while she set new school records for aces in a match and in a career. This past season at North she racked up 489 assists, 160 kills, 109 digs and 53 aces.
Â
The Sycamores lose only one player to graduation –
Laura Gross – following the 2018 campaign, which was
Lindsay Allman's second year in the Wabash Valley.
