TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Sycamore Basketball Coaches Show starring men's basketball head coach
Greg Lansing and women's basketball head coach
Vicki Hall will air each Monday during the season, beginning on October 29 from 6 until 7 pm (ET) live from 7th and Elm Bar and Grille.
The shows will air live locally on WIBQÂ 97.9 FM which is also the home for all Sycamore men's and women's basketball broadcasts this season. Coach Lansing and Coach Hall will appear weekly along with special guests to talk about the latest in their programs and discuss upcoming games and emerging storylines.
Each week the public is invited to attend the show on the lower level of 7th & Elm Bar and Grille. Coach Lansing will appear at 6 pm (ET) with Coach Hall beginning at 6:30 pm (ET). Once again this year, the show will be hosted by the longtime voice of the Sycamores
Brian Fritz.
Additionally, the show will stream live on WIBQFM.com and will appear later in the week in video form on GoSycamores.com as well as the Sycamores' social media channels. The TV version of the broadcasts will appear throughout the state of Indiana on ISC Sports Network.Â
There will be no live show on November 5 due to the team's travel commitments as well as on December 24 -- Christmas Eve. A special Sycamore celebration will be scheduled for December 31 as we invite all Sycamore fans to make a stop by 7th & Elm a part of their New Year's Eve festivities.
The men's basketball season begins on Thursday, November 1 when the Sycamores host Rose-Hulman at 7 pm (ET) in the Jim Shaw Classic. All tickets to the game (upper and lower level) are only $5 with all proceeds going to the Habitat for Humanity house that will be built in 2019 by volunteers from Indiana State University. Tickets may be purchased at the Hulman Center Ticket Office, over the phone at 1-877-ISU-TIXS and online at GoSycamores.com.
The women's season tips off at 6 pm (ET) on Wednesday, November 7 at Marshall. The Sycamores will play their first five contests on the road before opening at home on Monday, December 3 against IUPUIÂ at 7 pm (ET).
