Taylor Austin has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, the Valley announced Tuesday afternoon.

Taylor Austin hit another milestone in her career on Friday at the Gladstein Invitational, this time passing current Indiana State senior associate AD
Angie Lansing in the mile to move into second in ISU history. She finished second in the race, but crossed the line at 4:48.29, which overtook Lansing's time of 4:50.12. The only Sycamore in front of Austin on the all-time list now is her teammate
Brooke Moore, who holds the school-record at 4:43.04. Austin currently owns the best time in the Valley and 38th overall time in the NCAA from her converted time of 4:48.23 at the Terre Haute Double Dual.
