ST. LOUIS – Indiana State freshman
Nikkie White was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Championship All-Tournament team Saturday following an outstanding weekend on the court for the Sycamores.
White finished the tournament with a .283 attacking percentage, leading the team with 22 kills (3.67 k/s) in two matches, including 10 kills and a .320 attack percent in a 3-0 sweep of Drake to open the tournament.
The Columbus, Ohio native also finished with five blocks and 11 digs over the weekend. She helped lead the Sycamore volleyball program to its first win in the MVC Championship in program history.
In total, White finished her freshman campaign with 239 kills on a .174 attacking percentage and 75 blocks which was second on the team.
