PEORIA, Ill. – Indiana State used another double-digit performance from senior forward Racheal Mahan as it posted its seventh-straight victory over Bradley, 65-55, on Friday evening. Indiana State moves to 15-6 overall and 5-5 in MVC play.

Senior forward Racheal Mahan posted her 12^th game in double figures with a game-high 20 points and eight boards. Four different players added eight points each while eight different players scored points on the night.

Senior guard Travecia Franklin led with a team-high four assists as ISU combined for 14 total assists. Senior forward Chelsea Small added three assists to go along with eight points, two steals and a block.

The Sycamores picked up 10 steals on the night including two each from Mahan, Small, Franklin and junior guard Alexis Newbolt.

Indiana State led by as many as six in the first half as redshirt sophomore Joyea Marshall picked up a jumper in the paint. But Bradley kept it within reach as it cut the lead down to one, 24-23, on a breakaway layup by Tamya Sims.

Offense went on a hiatus near the end of the half as Indiana State didn't score for nearly four minutes. Mahan broke up the drought with a move in the paint to put ISU up three with 5:02 to play.

ISU went on a 5-2 run to close the half and take a 31-27 at halftime. Defense came out ready in the second half, as the Sycamores held the Braves scoreless for the first 3:40 of the final frame.

BU found a spark in its press in the second half, and cut the ISU lead down to as many as six with 1:30 to play. Indiana State took advantage of Bradley's need to foul as it sank 8-of-10 free throws in the final minute to help seal the win.

Indiana State continues on to the Windy City as it faces Loyola on Sunday. The afternoon tip is set for 3 p.m. ET inside Gentile Arena.
