TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State head football coach Mike Sanford has announced the addition of 25 student-athletes to the football program who have inked a National Letter Of Intent.
In the signing class are four mid-year transfers and 21 incoming freshmen. Bios of all of our signees can be found by clicking the student-athletes name below. We also have an interview with one assistant coach and a highlight tape for each signee located at the far right of their bio line.
The class represents student-athletes from across the country, but features a total of six from the state of Indiana. Additionally, there are four each from Pennsylvania (a historic hot bed of Sycamore talent) and the talent rich state of Florida.
The Sycamores finished the 2014 campaign with an 8-6 record – a record for the program in the Missouri Valley Football Conference era. Indiana State returned to the NCAA FCS Playoffs for the first time since 1984 and earned their first postseason victory since 1983 with a win at Eastern Kentucky. Head coach Mike Sanford was named the AFCA Regional Coach of the Year and will be in his third-year at the helm of the Sycamore football program in 2015.
Sycamore fans should mark their calendars now for the annual Blue/White Spring Game on Friday, April 24 as well as the Indiana State Football Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, April 25.
