TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State head women's basketball coach Teri Moren announced the addition of Sara Riedeman to the Sycamore coaching staff this week. Riedeman joins ISU after serving as the head coach at Roncalli High School in Indianapolis for the past four seasons.

“I am thrilled that Sara is joining our Sycamore Family. She was a tremendous competitor as a player and played an integral role in helping us win a championship at the University of Indianapolis," said head coach Moren. "Sara is a player's coach, she will be someone that our players will enjoy working with each day. I've been so impressed and proud of the success she has had in the last four years at Roncalli. Sara has an incredible work ethic and is so passionate about the game of basketball. She will, without a doubt, have a positive impact on our growing program.”

Riedeman played three seasons (2002-05) at the University of Indianapolis during Moren's tenure with the Greyhounds, setting the school record by knocking down 44.2% (149-for-337) of her three-point shots for her career. Indianapolis posted three straight 20-win seasons from 2002-05, going 74-22 during her time in school as a student-athlete.

While at Roncalli from 2008-2012, Riedeman led the Rebels to a 68-28 record in four seasons, winning three straight sectional championships from 2009-2011 and one regional title (2010-11). Before taking the head job at Roncalli, Riedeman served as an assistant coach at Bishop Chatard High School from 2005-08, supporting the team to the Class 3A State Championship game in 2008.

Riedeman has worked as the head coach with three AAU programs in the state of Indiana since 2005, including: Indiana's Finest 14 and under (2005-2008), Indiana Legends 15 and under (2008-2010) and Indiana Elite 17 (2011-2012).
