TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Indiana State football team has added to its growing list of television appearances for the 2011 campaign with the addition of the Western Kentucky contest on September 17 to ESPN3.com's lineup this fall.

Kickoff against the Hilltoppers, a current FBS program in the Sun Belt Conference and former member of the Gateway Football (now Missouri Valley Football) Conference is set for 7:00 p.m. (ET).

ESPN3.com is ESPN's live sports broadband network, a 24/7 online destination that delivers thousands of live, global sports events annually. It is currently available in nearly 70 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or cable TV video subscription from an affiliated service provider. It is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

Indiana State's season opener on September 3 will appear on the Big Ten Network while the Homecoming contest on October 15 against Western Illinois will be shown locally on WTWO TV and world wide on Sycamore Vision. The September 17 road contest at Western Kentucky as well as the road contest at Illinois State on October 22 will be on ESPN 3. Valley Live will telecast the September 24 home game versus Youngstown State.

Additionally, the 2011 FCS Coaches Poll was announced earlier today (Aug. 22) and the Sycamores received 15 votes in that poll. Those 15 votes represent a No. 38 position for Indiana State.

League preseason favorite Northern Iowa led the way with a No. 7 selection (448 votes), while North Dakota State was No. 11 with 392 votes. Southern Illinois was 17th with 181 votes and Western Illinois led the way in receiving votes with 72.

ISU was 38th with 15 votes and Illinois State was 42nd with 11. South Dakota State had 10 votes for 43rd place to round out MVFC representation.

Indiana State head coach Trent Miles is a member of the voting panel as well as Western Illinois' Mark Hendrickson from the MVFC.

The FCS Coaches Poll is based exclusively on a voting panel of head coaches in the FCS under the cooperation of the Collegiate Commissioners Association (CCA) and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and is administered by the Southern Conference.
