TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State basketball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament by virtue of their State Farm MVC Tournament Championship won last weekend in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center and the Sycamores are inviting the public to watch the NCAA Selection Show with them on Sunday, March 13 at the Student Recreation Center. The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. (ET) on the main level gym located just inside all entrances to the Rec Center and is free to all that wish to attend.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to help celebrate ISU's third MVC Tournament Championship and to watch the NCAA Selection Ceremony live on CBS on a big screen with the team, coaches and administrators. Refreshments, MVC Championship Merchandise and commemorative posters will all be available at the event. Additionally, there will be an autograph session with the team and fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the MVC Championship Trophy. This family friendly event will also feature a face painting area for children of all ages.
The NCAA Bracket Selection Show will begin at 6 p.m. (ET) and will be shown on a large screen at the Recreation Center. A representative from the Hulman Center Ticket Office will also be onsite to answer all fans questions at the NCAA Tournament Ticketing process. Travel information packets will be made available to those fans interested in seeing the Big Dance in person once the Sycamores' NCAA destination is revealed.
