PEORIA, Ill. - Indiana State came roaring back from a 16-point halftime deficit to force overtime before falling to Bradley on the road in Missouri Valley Conference play by the score of 91-85 in front of 8.618 fans at Carver Arena on Wednesday night.
ISU drops to 10-5, 2-2 MVC while Bradley improved to 7-7, 2-2 MVC.
Indiana State trailed by a season-high 16 points at the half (45-29), but came out of the halftime locker room with authority as Harry Marshall converted a conventional 3-point play just 13 seconds in to make it 45-32.
Jordan Printy's 3-pointer at the 17:10 mark made it 47-37 and Marshall got ISU within 49-39 when he hit 1-of-2 free throws with 15:50 left on the clock.
After Bradley ran the lead out to 13 points, the Sycamores embarked on a quick 7-0 spurt fueled by back-to-back 3-pointers from Rashad Reed and Aaron Carter as well as offensive putback by Carl Richard to make it 53-47 with 13:09 left in the contest.
ISU opened the first seven minutes of the half by outscoring Bradley by an 18-8 margin fueled by hot 3-point shooting and Marshall's quick five points.

ISU hit five of their first eight shots from long range to help push them back into the contest.
ISU wasn't down there as they eventual hit two more triples consecutively, another by Printy and yet another by Carter with 9:34 left as the Sycamores surged ahead of the Braves 59-55. With 7:43 left in the contest, the Braves had hit only two field goal attempts in the second half.

Then like a heavyweight boxing match, the two teams countered punch for punch. First, a conventional 3-point play by Will Egloff gave Bradley a 71-68 lead and a Printy triple matched it. Andrew Warren drilled another three and Marshall answered by hitting both ends of a bonus free throw situation with 52.9 seconds left .
Trailing 74-73, Doluony created a steal in the back court but missed a contested lay-up that would have put the Sycamores back ahead.
