Wright ran to a third place finish in the 400 meter invitational race at the Indiana Relays, hosted by Indiana University, last Friday but was the top Division I runner, finishing in 48.70. The time is the second best posted in the MVC in the 2009 Indoor season.

Wright was also on the 4x400 meter relay team that placed sixth overall (3:19.22) and second among Division I schools in the competition. Also on that team were Anthony Bertoli, Gary Ogburn and Colton Slack.

The Sycamores are preparing for the prestigious Meyo Invitational this weekend on the campus of Notre Dame University in South Bend, Ind. The Invitational begins a busy month of February for Indiana State with competition at the Iowa State Classic (Feb. 12-14), at the EIU Friday Night Special (Feb. 20), and ending with the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa (Feb. 28-Mar.1).
