TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State men's basketball team and Beef 'O' Brady's have teamed up once again to hold five "Sycamore Basketball Tipoff Lunches" that will allow fans from around the community to interact with members of the team and coaching staff throughout the season. The first will be held on Thursday, November 12 and will begin in the back banquet area of the restaurant at Noon (ET).

The luncheons will take place at Beef 'O' Brady's located at 2309 S. 3rd.St. in Terre Haute and will begin at Noon on these scheduled dates: November 12, December 3, January 7, February 4 and March 2. Cost for the event is $10, which includes lunch and an opportunity to meet the Sycamores. Prizes will also be given away at each event.

Each lunch will begin with a short program during which head coach Kevin McKenna will talk about the season. Selected players will also attend each session and will be available for questions from fans. In addition, information updates on the team will also be available including game notes, team posters, schedules, etc., to keep fans as up-to-date as possible on the team's success.

"I think there are some fans in the area that would like to know a little bit more about our players and coaches and this will be a great way for them to be able to do that," McKenna said. "The staff at Beef 'O' Brady's have been great about supporting all of our programs at Indiana State and we are glad they are helping us host this event. We want to reach out to the community and offer them an inside view of our program, talk about strategy and upcoming opponents and how the season is progressing. We are looking forward to starting these luncheons and hope to see a lot of people there."

The Indiana State basketball season begins on Friday, November 13 when the Sycamores host Nebraska-Kearney at Hulman Center. Tipoff is set for 7:05 p.m. (ET). Tickets are available by calling the Hulman Center Box Office at (812) 237-3737 or by stopping by during normal business hours.
