ISU’s Kyle Hooper countered with 3:06 remaining

to put the Cougars up 14-3.

back within four at 14-10. The Sycamores drove down to USF’s
territory on its final drive of the half, but the clock expired
before ISU could get within field goal range.
The second half was all USF as they stopped the
Sycamores on a three-and-out after ISU’s first second half
possession. They then blocked a Phillip Johnson punt and Chris Schmitt

zone to put the Cougars up 21-10.
USF would add three touchdown runs in the game’s
final quarter and a half. One each were scored by Chris Bramell,
Jacquay and Denning.
