TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's and women's track & field remains at home for the for the 2017 Pacesetter Invitational this weekend at the Gibson Track & Field Complex. Sycamore track will be honoring 15 seniors:

The Sycamores will be one of six total teams in scored competition alongside Detroit, Milwaukee, Saint Louis, Valparaiso and Xavier.
Indiana State is coming off a very successful weekend at home, with the men placing first and the women second at the Gibson Invitational. Several Sycamores set new personal records to go along with eight individual victories.
Sophomore
Brooke Moore kept her extraordinary season going, winning the 800 for the third time this season. She is currently ranked 31st in the NCAA and 13th in the East Region in the 800 at her time of 2:06.74 from two weeks ago.
After a victory last weekend in the 1500, her school-record time of 4:20.02 from three weeks ago still ranks highly as well at 38th on the national list and 15th on the regional list. She leads the Valley in both events by more than a four-second margin.
Senior hurdler
Marcus Neely claimed yet another win in the 110-meter hurdles. Neely ran an impressive 13.79, which has him sitting at 15th nationally and eighth regionally. Neely is a two-time NCAA East qualifier and has run a career-best 13.70 at last year's MVC Outdoor Championships.
Fellow senior hurdler
Daley Carter also improved last week, running 14.09 to move up to 18th on the NCAA East list and 36th on the national list.
Senior
Tyrell Dowdell had a successful day as well, setting a new personal record and winning the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.24. He is now in a tie for fourth all-time at Indiana State, and is 32nd on the East Region list.
All-American
David Timlin made his return to the track in the 1500, winning the event with a time of 3:51.99.
Competition will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday night with the men's and women's hammer throw and javelin.
