NEW ORLEANS – Indiana State men's and women's cross country both earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the USTFCCCA announced Thursday afternoon.
 
To be considered for the honor, teams must have competed at any of the NCAA Regional cross country meets and also hold cumulative team GPAs of 3.0 or higher. The Sycamore women hold a 3.6 and the men a 3.19.
 
The honor holds the distinction of the 39th and 40th such distinction for the Sycamore cross country program under late head coach John McNichols, who passed away on Dec. 21.
