TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State baseball and Butler will play a midweek contest at Victory Field in Indianapolis Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. The Sycamores have won 12-straight games in the series and the game will mark the first meeting between the two programs in two years.
Located in downtown Indianapolis, Victory Field is the home to the Indianapolis Indians, the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburg Pirates. The ballpark opened its doors in 1996 and has a capacity of 14,230.
"This game is a great opportunity for our alumni in and around Indianapolis to see our team compete," head coach
Mitch Hannahs said. "We are very appreciative of the hospitality shown by the Indianapolis Indians in allowing us to play this game at a top-notch venue."
