TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State track and field and cross country programs will be holding an alumni weekend on Fri., April 20 and Sat., April 21 at the Gibson Track and Field Complex.
 
"We are very excited to be able to host three home meets this outdoor season," head coach Angela Martin said. "Inviting our alumni base back for the Pacesetter Sports Invitational is a great way for us to stay in touch. We have been fortunate enough to have a highly supportive group of alumni and it will be wonderful to share memories and celebrate them, especially the 1988 MVC Championship Men's team."
 
The alumni weekend will take place during the Pacesetter Sports Invitational and guests are welcome to attend the meet, which starts at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, and stay for Saturday's competition which begins at noon ET.
 
Saturday will also feature an alumni recognition at 3:00 p.m. ET and all track and field and cross country alumni and the 1988 Men's Outdoor MVC Track & Field Champions will be recognized. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with a hospitality tent available throughout the event. All friends of the program are welcome to attend as well.
