TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State baseball has announced its Fall Prospect Showcase which will begin Oct. 7
th and Oct. 8
th at Bob Warn Field.
The Fall Prospect Showcase is a great opportunity for high school baseball players to be seen not only by Sycamore head coach
Mitch Hannahs and staff, but by many other schools across all levels throughout the Midwest.
Prospects will be able to participate in a pro-style workout and have the chance to compete in a live game against other prospects. Following the camp, prospects will receive a personal evaluation to see how their skills currently grade out.
Position players will receive the pro-style workout (which includes the 60-yard dash), position defensive instruction, on-field batting practice, a skills workout and a live game. Pitchers will go through the pitcher's workshop and through a live game.
The Fall Prospect Showcase is divided into three session with each session serving as its own separate camp (one morning and one afternoon session on Saturday Oct. 7 and a morning session on Sunday Oct. 8th). The event is open to all 9th - 12th graders and spots are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
Each session serves as its own separate camp and costs $175.00 per player. Players are required to designate a primary position, those who would like to also play a secondary position will need to pay an additional $75 due to time constraints.
Prospects must also bring their own gear (glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, catchers gear, running/turf shoes, hat or any other equipment deemed necessary).
