TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's basketball head coach
Joey Wells has announced the addition of
Darion Hutchinson and
Caitlyn Worry as graduate assistants for the Sycamore women's basketball program.
Hutchinson, an Indianapolis native, takes over responsibilities as the Sycamore's Director of Basketball Operations while Worry becomes the team's Video Coordinator.
Hutchinson is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis, earning her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations. She played three seasons with the Bellarmine women's basketball program where she appeared in 61 games before transferring and playing one year with the Hounds.
Hutchinson has an extensive background in marketing after completing internships with the Colts, Pacers and the Hoosiers in different capacities.
Worry joins the Sycamores after earning a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Dallas. The Lumberton, Texas native was a four-year player for the Crusaders where she saw action in 79 games.
Worry comes to Terre Haute with several years of basketball experience on and off the court. When she wasn't on the court for the Crusaders, she spent time breaking down film and working on recruiting materials. She also spent time working camps such as the Hamshire-Fannett Basketball Camp as well as taking on an assistant coach role with the Lumberton High School basketball team during the summer.
