TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The annual Sycamore Athletics Kickoff Party and final stop on the summer long Coaches Caravan will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 5-7 p.m. (ET) inside Hulman Center. As always, admission to the event is free.
As a way to build excitement for the upcoming athletic season, fans will have the opportunity to visit with student-athletes as well as get photos and autographs with the teams on the main floor of Hulman Center. The activity will move inside at 6 pm (ET) when the final stop of the Coaches Caravan will begin inside the Varsity Club Room. Fans will have the chance to hear from each head coach and have the opportunity to ask questions. The event will be hosted by Sycamore Athletics' personality Luke Martin. Earlier this summer, the Coaches Caravan made stops in Evansville, Indianapolis and Griffith.
There will be different games which will be hosted by Sycamore student-athletes during the duration of the event. Members of the ISU administration and all head coaches will be available for a meet and greet with Sycamore fans. Also available will be face painting, music and much more. Raffles for season ticket packages and Sycamore gear will be held.
This year's event is being held in conjunction with Welcome Week with an emphasis placed on attendance of this event by the Indiana State University student body.
Representatives from the ticket office will be on site to take season ticket orders for football, men's and women's basketball and to register Wabash Valley youth for the Sycamores Kids Club.
Different activities will also be planned to interact with the various teams. Concessions will also be available. Also in attendance will be representatives from Pacesetter Sports who will have new Sycamore gear by Under Armour available for purchase.
