TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State baseball has announced dates for three camps this fall including the ISU Back to School Prospect Showcase, Fall Games Camp as well as its annual Fall Prospect Showcase.
Indiana State Fall Games Camp will take place from August 30-September 21 and will give ballplayers grades 7-12 an opportunity unlike any other for players to gain knowledge and improve their skill sets. Players will receive instruction in all aspects of baseball skill development from the ISU coaching staff and players each week on Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium and our indoor facility.
Additionally, players will then have the opportunity to put those skills to work during weekly games. Our camp will allow each participant to receive valuable college coaching up close and personal and allow players to get much needed repetitions throughout the fall.
The Sycamore Back to School Prospect Showcase set for August 12 and the ISU Fall Prospect Showcase set to take place October 7-8 are both great opportunities to be seen by Sycamores Head Coach
Mitch Hannahs and his ISU staff. On top of being seen by Indiana State each prospect will have the opportunity to perform in front of numerous prestigious college programs from all levels throughout the Midwest. The Fall Prospect Showcase is considered one of the premium recruiting events in the region each fall with prospects traveling from several states.
Each prospect will have the opportunity to participate in a PRO Style Workout including a 60-yard dash, Positional workout, and batting practice on the field. Additionally, each prospect will be further evaluated during a live game. Another unique benefit is that each prospect will have the opportunity to see how they stack up against their peers at the showcase, as well as the current Sycamores, by way of our one of a kind Sycamore Skills Rankings that each player will have access to following the camp.
