Terre Haute, Ind.—The Sycamore soccer program prepares for Missouri Valley Conference play with an even schedule consisting of nine home matches and eight road games as announced by second year head coach

Indiana State officially opens the 2017 season inside Memorial Stadium on Aug. 18 to face off with UIC. Following this the Sycamores continue their home slate for two more games against Eastern Illinois on Aug. 20 and Northern Kentucky on Aug. 25.
Recently Memorial Stadium received an upgrade with new lights being installed as part of the Elevate Campaign which will increase fan experience at women's soccer in 2017.
On Aug. 27 the Sycamores hit the road to take on the Boilermakers of Purdue University kicking off the bulk of their away contests.
ISU continues the road swing traveling to Wisconsin for a pair of games. First the Sycamores match with UW-Green Bay on Sept.1 followed by UW-Milwaukee on Sept. 3. The road contests continue with the first MVC matchup of 2017 against Loyola Chicago on Sept. 8.
The Sycamores will then return home for one evening game with Fort Wayne on Sept. 15. ISU hops back on the bus for two more road matches against Butler on Sept. 17 and Chicago State on Sept. 24.
Indiana State will continue the season with their first home conference matchup facing off with the Missouri State Bears on Sept. 28 then remains home to finish their non-conference season taking on UMKC on Oct. 1.
The remainder of the season will consist of conference matches with only two more to be played on the road. Indiana State will first head to Des Moines to face off with the Drake Bulldogs on Oct. 6.
ISU will then continue conference play with a three game home stretch first welcoming the defending conference champion Illinois State Redbirds on Oct. 14. The Sycamores will then face off with Evansville on Oct. 18.
Indiana State will welcome the Valparaiso Crusaders as their final home matchup on Oct. 22. This is Valparaiso's first season as a competitor in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Finally Indiana State will round out their conference season by traveling to Iowa once again to take on the Panthers of UNI.
MVC tournament play will follow with the opening rounds being played on Oct. 29 and the championship match up on Nov. 5.
Each home game, with the exception of Sept. 15 vs. Fort Wayne will be broadcasted on The Valley on ESPN3.
