ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the tenth annual Gildan Charleston Classic, to be played Nov. 16, 17 & 19 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

Indiana State will open play in the tournament against Auburn of the Southeastern Conference on Thursday, November 16 with tip-off set for 11:30 a.m. (ET). The game will be televised live nationally on ESPNU. This will be the first time that the Sycamores have faced Auburn on the hardwood, although they did take on Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl when he was at Milwaukee back in 2002 during early season tournament play in New Orleans.

The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. The teams compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sun., Nov. 19.

Early bird tickets are on sale now with special pricing through August 11. Fans can purchase an all-session baseline or upper level ticket for $90 (regularly $100) or premium sideline general admission seat for $100 (regularly $115). College of Charleston season ticket holders can purchase baseline or upper general admission all-session tickets for $80 or premium sideline general admission tickets for $90. The Sycamores will face off against either Old Dominion or Temple on Friday, November 17. With a win over Auburn, Indiana State will play at 11 am (ET) live on ESPN2 or they will move to the consolation bracket to play at 1:30 p.m. on ESPNU. No matter the result, this will be the first-ever matchup against either Old Dominion or Temple.

Saturday will be an off day before play resumes on Sunday, November 19. The games begin at 1 pm (ET) and will continue throughout the day culminating with the Champioship game at 9:30 pm (ET) live on ESPN2.

Sycamore Basketball has a long history of playing in ESPN Events sponsored multi-team events which began with the 2011 Old Spice Classic where Indiana State put together a 2-1 record with victories over Texas Tech and Fairfield. In 2012, the Sycamores enjoyed their greatest success when they travelled to Hawaii for the Diamondhead Classic. There, Indiana State took down Ole Miss by two points in overtime and took home third place with a thrilling victory over Miami (Fla.) on the final day. The Hurricanes would go on to be ranked No. 1 nationally later in the year and were a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Last year, the Sycamores returned to Walt Disney World as they participated in the 2016 Advocare Invitational and went down to the wire against NCAA Tournament qualfier Iowa State.

Additionally, the Sycamores took part in 2013 Great Alaska Shootout with a 2-1 record, the 2014 Las Vegas Invitational where they picked up a pair of wins and the 2015 Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands where they returned home with a 2-1 finish.
