ST. LOUIS – Senior All-American David Timlin has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Male Track Athlete of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday.

Senior All-American David Timlin was victorious in the 1500-meter run this past weekend at ISU Twilight with a time of 3:42.93, which was the third-fastest in the NCAA last weekend, broke the facility record for Gibson Track & Field Complex and is just one second off of his school-record. His time moved him to 42nd in the NCAA this year, 17th in the East and best in the Valley.
