Sycamores Welcome Maya Jamison to the 2017 Roster

Terre Haute, Ind.—Indiana State has added another member to the 2017 roster.

The Sycamores welcome Maya Jamison, a junior goalkeeper from Farmington Hills, Mich. Jamison will be joining Indiana State transferring from UT-Martin where she competed in two seasons.

"We are excited to add another Sycamore to the program. Maya will bring collegiate experience and immediate depth to our goalkeeping group, as well as make significant contributions to the competitiveness for time in goal," said head coach Julie Hanley.

During her time with the Skyhawks, Jamison recorded a 2.2 goals against average as well as notching a season high of five saves in 2015 against Akron. Jamison was also named to the OVC Commissioners Honor Roll. In 2016 Jamison notched three wins recording a .738 save percentage with 45 saves total. She recorded a team high of 16 goals against on the season.

Jamison also recorded a very impressive high school career earning herself many honors during her time at Harrison High School. Some of these include, OAA second team, all-area, all-district and all-division honors. Maya is the daughter of Michael Jamison and Kimberly Jamison, and Terri Hilson and Larry Hilson. She has one sibling and is majoring in finance.

"She is a great student and we are thrilled she has chosen to be a Sycamore. I know she will be a great addition and asset to the Indiana State soccer program," said Hanley.
