ST LOUIS – Coming off a superb weekend at the plate for the Sycamores, outfielder
Kyle Moore has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. It marks the first Player of the Week honor for Moore and the second MVC weekly honor for the Sycamores this season.

Moore finished the weekend hitting at a clip of .500 to go along with a .600 on-base percentage and a 1.083 slugging percentage. The senior out of Suffolk, Virginia product finished Saturday's contest just a triple away from the cycle after going 4-of-5 with a double and a grand slam. He finished with two home runs in three games for the Trees.

In all, Moore wrapped up the weekend with three runs scored, five RBIs a walk and a stolen base as the Sycamores completed the series sweep of Oakland at Bob Warn Field.
