DALLAS, Texas -- Indiana State is in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Bradley Spring Break Invitational -- both of which were held on Monday at the Brookhaven Country Club, which is a par-71, 5,921-yard layout.
Marissa Uradomo and
Thilda Staubo are both inside the individual top 20 while the Sycamores posted an opening round of 327 and came back with a round of 314 in the evening for a two round score of 641 which is good enough for eighth place. Northern Illinois posted a two round score of 594 to lead the event. Indiana State leads Drake who is in ninth with a score of 653 while UT-Dallas rounds out of the field with a team score of 695.
Uradomo tallied an 81 in the morning but came back with an even par effort of 71 in the afternoon to finish with a score of 152. She is in a tie for eighth place. Staubo carded an 80 to post the low opening round and came back with a 77 for a two round score of 157 which is tied for 20th place.
Robyn Blanchard had rounds of 83 and 82 for a two round score of 165 and is in 37th place.
Alex Jennings carded a pair of 84's and tally of 168 is good enough for 46th place. Freshman
Sierra Hargens posted rounds of 83 and 86 for a score of 169 which is tied for 47th place.
Playing as an individual,
Dawn Turner had rounds of 83 and 84 and score of 167 tied for 40th place.
