DALLAS -- The Indiana State women's golf team resumes the spring campaign as they travel to the Bradley Spring Break Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (March 13 & 14) at the Brookhaven Country Club near Dallas Texas. Their will be both a men's and women's tournament played concurrently, and the women's event will feature a par-71, 5,921-yard layout. 

The Sycamores enjoyed positive results in their first tournament of the spring two weeks ago when they finished 31st at the Edwin Watts / Kiawah Island Classic in the largest field in the nation that weekend of 43 teams. In the flight championship, Indiana State finished ninth and senior Marissa Uradomo posted rounds of 78, 70 and 71 to record the lowest individual score in the flight. She was named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for her efforts.

This tournament begins a two-tournament swing through the Lonestar State as the Sycamores will take part in the Lamar Cardinal Challenge on March 17-19 in Beaumont, Texas. Indiana State is on Spring Break this week allowing for the team to make a lengthy trip to the South.

Uradomo currently ranks third in the Missouri Valley Conference while freshman Sierra Hargens is ranked 21st, according to this week's Golfstat rankings. Overall, the Sycamores are ranked as the sixth-best team in the league.

This weekend's event will be a good gauge for the Sycamores as the field is loaded with MVC programs. The field consists of: Akron, Arkansas State, host Bradley, Drake, Illinois State, Indiana State, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, UT-Dallas and Wichita State.

The tournament begins on Monday, March 13 with a shotgun start at 10 am (ET). The teams will play 36 holes on the first day. Play concludes with a single round on Tuesday, March 14 which also begins at 10 am (ET). Live scoring is available on BirdieFire.com
