TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State swimming and diving with host their first relay meet inside the Vigo County Aquatic Center on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.

Indiana State enters this meet coming off a historic mid-season Bearcat Invitational where they broke an impressive eight school records.

Numerous Sycamores swam well for Indiana State but others recorded especially standout performances.

Blanca Saez-Illobre broke two ISU school records in one race when she shattered the 200 breaststroke record with a time of 2:18.24 and added a new record in the 100 breaststroke based on her split time halfway through the event.

Kendall Hansen added two other records for the Sycamores in both the 100 and 200 backstroke. Hansen first set the 200 back record in the preliminary heats and later that day beat it again with a time of 2:03.26. Hansen recorded a time of 56.85 in the 100 back.

Martina Marks and Cierra Campbell added their own individual records as well. Campbell recorded a record time of 17.50.98 in the 1650 freestyle while Marks added a 2:06.60 in the 200 butterfly.

Indiana State added two other records in the 800 freestyle relay with a 7:46.49 and the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:33.60.

Indiana State will now host their first ever relay meet welcoming St. Louis, Eastern Illinois and Maryville to the Vigo County Aquatic Center.

"As we come off a historic Mid-Season meet breaking 8 school records, we are in the process of getting back to work and redefining our expectation levels for each other, ourselves and our program. This program continues to strive for more and it is an exciting time to be a Sycamore. Unfortunately, the sickness bug has creeped into our program which our athletic trainers and staff are handling quite well, but we will put forth a great effort at the Relay meet. The meet set up is exciting because we get to see nothing but relays which is extremely different than our standard dual meets," said head coach Matt Leach.

Indiana State will kick off the relays starting at 6 p.m.
