DES MOINES, Iowa – The Sycamores match with the Drake Bulldogs has been postponed due to severe weather.

Indiana State and Drake kicked off their match tonight (Oct. 6) inside Cownie Soccer Complex and the storm rolled in soon after the first whistle.

Prior to the weather delay the Sycamores started the match slow and Drake caught them on their heels. The Bulldogs found themselves on a breakaway up the middle of the field and ripped a shot from eighteen yards out giving them an early lead.

In the 27^th minute of play the referees signaled for a weather delay due to lightning in the area.

After heading to the locker room, game officials decided to postpone the match until tomorrow (Oct. 7)

Play will kick off at 2 p.m. at Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.
