TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sophomore Brooke Moore has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday.

Sophomore star Brooke Moore kept the pedal down on her superb second season with another impressive win in the 800-meter at the UNI Mark Messersmith Invite. Moore, who has earned All-MVC during the cross country season in both her freshman and sophomore years, cut down her 800 PR by two seconds to win at a time of 2:10.67 – the fifth-best time in school history. When adjusted for track size, her time of 2:09.18 leads the MVC and ranks 39th in the NCAA.
