TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State Athletic Department, in conjunction with SIDEARM Sports, launched a new partnership Thursday, unveiling a reconstructed
GoSycamores.com, the official ISU Athletics website.
The revamped site features a look that allows fans to navigate quicker and find the information they need at their fingertips, whether on desktop or mobile device, as
GoSycamores.com will operate in a responsive web environment. The new partnership also puts more emphasis on the social media aspect of Indiana State Athletics, integrating features from ISU's official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts directly into each sport's homepage with an interactive "media wall". Videos and photo galleries are also featured more prominently in the new-look site and statistics buffs will find a more robust display of career, season and individual statistics displays moving forward.
"Our athletics communications staff, along with our Sycamore Athletics Administrative Team, have worked hand-in-hand with the wonderful staff at SIDEARM Sports, for several months to make the transition of GoSycamores.com to the SIDEARM Sports family," said
Ace Hunt, Director of Media Relations. "SIDEARM Sports has quickly become a national leader in collegiate athletics for their outstanding web design and hosting capabilities. Our fans can look forward to enhanced content and a more user friendly experience when visiting the official athletic home of Sycamore Athletics, GoSycamores.com."
SIDEARM Sports is the web provider for over 900 college athletics programs, including several other Missouri Valley Conference schools.
"SIDEARM Sports hopes the supporters, alumni, fans, student-athletes and staff of Indiana State enjoy their new athletic website, GoSycamores.com," said Jeff Rubin, President/CEO of SIDEARM Sports. "The Sycamores' new site will give ISU followers a fully responsive experience across all platforms – mobile and desktop. The site also features rich features such as full social media integration, dynamic infographics and live stats. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Indiana State University."
