TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Due to heavy rain in the Normal, Ill., area on Thursday, the opening game of the Missouri Valley Conference weekend series between Indiana State and Illinois State has been postponed to Saturday, April 20.

The Sycamores and Redbirds will play at doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. (ET), 12:00 p.m. noon locally in Normal.

Poor field conditions at Duffy Bass Field forced the game to pushed back to Saturday afternoon.
