PEORIA, Ill. – Indiana State sits in eighth place after a shortened day one of the Bradley Invitational. Team's began the day late due to heavy frost in the Peoria area, playing just 27 holes on day one. The field will play 27 holes Sunday to close out the tournament.
 
Marissa Uradomo and Thilda Staubo are both inside the individual top 20 while the Sycamores posted an opening day of 319. Host school Bradley posted a score of 288 to lead the event while Drake (300) and Missouri-St. Louis posted a 306. .
 
Uradomo tallied a 79 to open the day finishing six over par, good enough to finish tied for 17th. Staubo carded an opening day 77 to finish tied for 19th. Robyn Blanchard posted an 82 while teammate Sierra Hargens shot an 81 to round out the team score. Sophomore Sophie Benetti carded an 85 opening round.
